A Unified Framework for Health Sector Efficiency

SWAP (Sector-Wide Approach)

Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare

Datharm is currently developing an integrated digital platform that enhances visibility, coordination, and optimization of health financing across donor and domestic resources. This platform will enable Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (FMoH&SW) to allocate resources effectively, manage funding flows, and ensure alignment with national health goals.

Bridging the Gaps in RMET

While the current Resource Mapping and Expenditure Tracking (RMET) system in Nigeria provides a foundational starting point, it is limited in scope, primarily focusing on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCH+N).

We’re building a more comprehensive, digital tool that integrates data from various sources, captures data beyond RMET’s core focus, and supports policy-making by improving cross-sector plans and coordination to drive better health outcomes.

The project aligns with the broader goal of establishing a sustainable, data-driven health financing system to support Nigeria’s SectorWide Approach (SWAp) reforms.
