From Paper to Platform

Overview

The partnership between Datharm and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) successfully led to the design and deployment of an ICT-enabled Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Dashboard at NASENI headquarters.

The system was developed to transition NASENI’s project monitoring and evaluation processes from fragmented digital tools and paper-based workflows to a unified, automated digital platform.

Driving Data-Driven Performance

Datharm successfully developed a system is to enhance efficiency, collaboration, data management, and overall operational effectiveness across NASENI's various departments and initiatives by providing a robust, transparent, and efficient platform for monitoring and evaluating projects, programs, and strategic objectives.

At the core of the system is the performance dashboard, which serves as the landing page and provides a consolidated overview of organizational activities and real-time performance indicators across all modules.

Key modules and functionalities of the system

Performance Monitoring: Provides real-time visualization of KPIs and overall organizational performance with drill-down capabilities.

Project Management: Manages the lifecycle of R&D projects, including initiation, planning, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and document attachments.

M&E Platform: Defines and tracks KPIs, facilitates standardized online data collection via various assessment forms, and offers data-driven insights through interactive dashboards and structured reports.

Task Management: Enables assignment, tracking, and progress monitoring of tasks and sub-tasks.

Settings: Manages user accounts, roles, permissions, and a notification system for alerts.
